tl;dr Avoid Candid at all costs. There are a bunch of similar offerings, nearly all at a better price point. Candid is deceitful and they do not stand behind their product.
I've had two major problems with Candid:
1) The results I experienced with Candid did not match the models they showed me to entice me to purchase their aligners. My teeth did not move in the way the models indicated they would, despite following the Candid guidelines to a tee. Reaching out to their support team was a horrific experience. You'll get orthodontic "advice" from low-level support people who I'd imagine struggle to put on their pants in the morning. The quality of support I received before and after I became a customer was like night and day. Everything was smooth until they got my money, then it seemed like they couldn't care less about me. I didn't get what I paid for and Candid, despite their shiny marketing to the contrary, WILL NOT HELP YOU.
2) Shipping was a nightmare. After receiving my 3D models, but before paying for the aligners, I had 2 Candid associates confirm that they'd be able to ship my retainer to my new home overseas. Naturally, this turned out to be untrue. My retainer was apparently shipped to whoever is living at my old address (Candid sent the retainer blindly without asking what address to ship to). Following up with their support team had them inform me that they would only ship within the US (despite what 2 of their employees had previously told me). So now I have no retainer.
I feel like this company stole $2,000 from me. Don't make the same mistake as me.
Emma was super helpful and was happy to help. She went out of her way to make sure the credit agency had the correct information. She also made sure I understood what was going on.

I need to agree that the customer service is terrible, and your teeth with never truly look like the treatment plan after pic they give you.
My first complaint came after the treatment was supposedly done, my teeth didn't line up, they blamed this on wisdom teeth. Please, they knew this before they sent my trays as I went in for scans.
Hold times are long and they want you to call for things that should be done by email for convenience, that's for a reason, so you'll never have in writing what you discussed.
They will also give you an attitude and hang up on you after citing Covid as an excuse for long hold times, c'mon now, a vaccine is out am Covid as an excuse is old.
I was told that a refinement was $100 I told them they never sent me my retainer, something I paid for. They admit they never sent it, and now want to change me $800 to get fresh trays.
They said they "tried" to call. What does that mean? I asked if they left a message, of course I know they never did.
Guys I'm an easy client, go to Invisalign where you get the treatment by an actual dentist.
Emma has been great so far. I am excited to get the aligners in and get started.
I thought my point of contact, Ms. Emma Draughn, was sharp, well informed and very personable. Frankly, she's an ideal salesperson, at least for me. Assuming the product doesn't flop, I've really been impressed with the people behind Candid so far, nice work.
Emma D. was awesome. Made everything work with my schedule, super friendly, answered all my questions & addressed all my concerns. 10/10 would call again just to hang out with -- never had such a pleasant call with any kind of ortho practice before. I'm really excited to start my treatment, it looks like my teeth are going to be exactly where I want them in 6 months!
Very bad, the minute they take your money, no follow ups, nothing. They never tell you that you will need a retainer for the rest of your life.
After i finished the whole process and the steps, 11 months of agony (the plastic trays are not comfortable at all), the upper teeth stayed crooked, loose gums, constant bleeding, i sent them a photo and never heard back from them.
After i called them, the agent suggested i redo the whole steps all over and i have to pay again!!! seriously??? Never again, save your money, this is not worth it.
Candid customer service has been excellent. Emma Draughn explained the process and answered all of my questions. I am very happy that I chose Candid to straighten my teeth.
